Bonjour!
We are Emma & Maxime and we began to volunteer at the walled garden about one year ago, right at the end of the first lockdown. We moved to London a few months before from Nantes (France) and it was the perfect opportunity to get back outdoor and meet nice people.
We discovered the walled garden during our regular walks and tennis games at Ravenscourt Park. We quickly felt in love with this little haven of peace and were happy to learn we could help to keep it so beautiful by volunteering every month. Angela and all the team welcomed us really warmly despite Covid-19.
Apart from gardening, Emma works in auction house and Maxime in the offshore wind industry. We love Nature, Art, good food and being with our families and friends. We are really happy to meet new ones here !
