We look forward to seeing our Friends of the Walled Garden on the 5th of November - we'll "light up" the Walled Garden with our volunteer gardening!
In October we had a beautiful sunny day for our pruning, propagating and tidying up. See the photos below. The major task was removing the dead box balls round the sundial which proved quite difficult despite their demise due to lack of depth of earth. Luckily some strong GoodGym volunteers arrived! They have now been replaced with pittosporum which will also not be prone to box blight should that arrive in the walled garden (luckily not so far).
