Summer sessions

Summer gardening sessions have continued over the last few months. Next session is on Saturday 1st August. With the dry conditions we will assess whether we can do any planting or whether we will need to wait for the welcome rain!

We were very pleased to have some plant donations from the Royal Parks - thank you! They are being watered by our rota of gardeners.

In July we had a big bindweed day in the rosebeds - see photo of the mountain of bindweed we dug out. Anthony also d some sterling work on pruning the rose pergolas.

Earlier in the year, we also supported the park open day and had a stand explaining more about the garden volunteering opportunities.
